{ 3rd birthday }

we cannot believe our little man is 3 years old! we asked him what kind of birthday party he wanted and he said, "a fish party" so that was what he got! thank you to jamma and papa for letting us have a swim party at their home and it was a very fun afternoon!

it wouldn't be the same not to have real fish at a fish party!

fishin' fun games!

we first played, "win a fish" just like you would play at the fair except everyone won! you had to get a ball into one of the bowls.

i debated whether or not to give goldfish out as favors and quickly remembered that everyone would've killed me and didn't want to give any unwanted pets away. so, we came up with plan b!

instead of winning a real goldfish, we made these cute fish in a soap bags!

then the kids made their own special fish bag and got to be creative with foam stickers and puffy paint.

then, the kids got to "go fish!"

they tied their bag to the pole and threw it into the deep blue sea.

daddy of course was hiding on the other side, filling the bags with fish-themed goodies like swedish fish and goldfish crackers.

we love our little fishy so much!
