i have to admit, i was having a hard time with the thought of turning thirty. my twenties was a blast and i didn't want it to end- i graduated college, was a charger girl, started my television career, was miss san diego county, married my sweetheart, had my 2 beautiful children...i mean, how do you top that? i guess the worst thought was that 1/3 of your life was over. (i know, really bad, but true... even if you are lucky to live that long!) as soon as i realized all of the wonderful things i had accomplished, i understood i was ready to move on and start the next phase of life, and do more wonderful things. now that i am in the 30's club, it's almost as if i belong here! i fit right in and i am proud to say i am 30!
ricky threw me an absolutely amazing thirtieth birthday party which probably helped and was my best birthday ever!
i am obsessed with chandeliers right now! it worked perfect for the invitation and tied in with the theme for the party.
envelopes i embossed (so proud of myself)

ricky got us an AMAZING rock star platinum suite at the hard rock hotel downtown san diego. it was the coolest hotel room we have ever stayed in!

gorgeous room and bath! hayden loved the "bath tub" that had changing color lights and the shower that had like 20 different shower heads coming at you in all directions!

love the napkins!

this was our own private deck! it was huge! hayden was in heaven and so were we! we had views of both the downtown skyline and the coronado bridge.

first stop? dinner! we ate at the gaslamp strip club where yes, you have to cook yourself- so much fun!

me and my sweetheart

cristian and hayden were so excited about the cake! it was a delicious red velvet (my favorite) with pink fondant.
