{ primary talk }

hayden gave his first { primary talk } at church last sunday! we were so proud of him! the topic was on temples and we'd been preparing all week teaching him about the importance of temples and how they seal families forever. whenever we drive on the i-5 in la jolla and pass by the beautiful san diego temple, he always points and says, "that's where mommy and daddy got married- that's where i want to get married too!" totally melts my heart everytime.

the big moment came! i grabbed his hand, we walked up together to the podium, he looked at the kids and then he got super shy. so, we decided to sit back down and let his cousin dean go and say his scripture. hayden saw that dean could do it (which totally helped) and he wanted to try again. so we went back up and i whispered into hayden's little ear and he repeated it. it went something like this-

"i love to see the temple. i'm going there someday. my mommy and daddy got married there and that's where i want to get married [he added-"to holland"] temples bless families. families are forever. in the name of jesus christ, amen."

he was so proud, we were proud and he got a new cars 2 toy as a "job well done!"

holland loves her big brother so much! she really pays attention to everything he does and it's so much fun to watch them interact.

she will be 10 months next week! we cannot believe how close she is to turning 1 and is getting closer to walking. holland is such a great eater, (there is nothing she hasn't liked) looks adorable in anything you dress her in and sleeps a good 10 hours through the night. she loves trying to chase our kitties around the house and will cry if they disappear out of her sight and will be modeling along with her big brother in her first fashion show this weekend! pictures to follow!
