i ran upstairs to start the bath and come back down to get hayden and SURPRISE! This is what I saw...

It was so hilarious and I grabbed the camera- he started playing with the toilet paper and we lost a whole roll-thank goodness it was trash/recycle day!

jessica and i decided to not only have a playdate with our sons, but to have a girls day out in la jolla too! we had lunch at "george's by the cove" where we dined on the best fish tacos and french fries! we later took our beautiful boys on a stroller walk at the beach. everyone kept asking us if we were sisters and if hayden and grant were related-it was easier to just tell everyone yes! love you jess and we had a blast with you guys!

ricky has so many amazing qualities, but one of my favorites is that he remembers everything that I like! We could be walking down a shopping aisle and I could make a comment on something that I like and sure enough, he always remembers and I'll be opening it for my birthday or Christmas. I LOVE that he is so thoughtful. So, we were at Costco a couple months ago and I had said that I loved this light and that it would look great in our dining room and totally forgetting about it, I come home and the ceiling fan is off and up is hanging this beautiful new light! I have the best husband ever.

hayden's first charger game!

our friend lacy called and invited us to the charger game to watch the bolts take on the patriots! hayden must be good luck because the chargers won big time! (30-10) it was so much fun watching hayden cheer along with everyone and he looked so cute in his little lightning bolt hat! it was so much fun to see girls I used to dance with. hayden was NOT a fan of the "Bolt Man" and we can only imagine how he will be with Santa! he quickly recovered and was cheering again in no time!

"Good Morning, timesaver traffic, gridlock, bumper to bumper, let's take a live look outside" are words that I commonly sat ay my job. people are always asking me about my job so i thought i would post some pictures about what i do and what i went to school for. i report and produce the traffic segments for Channel 10 in San Diego as a fill-in position and i absolutely love it. it is the most challenging thing i have ever been given but i have learned a lot from it. i get up at 3 AM and have to try and look decent (yes I do my OWN hair and makeup-we aren't that lucky!) and i get to the station around 4:30 AM. I have a report every 10 minutes from 5AM-7AM and then 3 hits during "Good Morning America." I have 3 monitors, have to follow the rundown and fill all the information out, communicate with the CHP and SKy10, know who I am tossing too and who is tossing to me as well as trying to remember "East, West, North and South" and what exit is what and what happened where! Every 10 minutes! Sound crazy? It is but I love it.


I then go home and take a quick nap in the afternoon and return to work for the 5PM show with Kimberly Hunt and Carol LeBeau-the ladies i grew up watching and dreamed of becoming! it is an absolute honor to work with them. i am very humbled. anyway, why my husband and i have such weird work hours, i don't know, but nonetheless, we seem to always see each other and one of us has the pleasure of watching hayden. ricky says that hayden smiles at me when he looks at the TV when I am on-too cute. i am constantly learning and i wanted to thank everyone for their constant love and support! tune in to get your traffic update...

time flies

ricky celebrated his 10-year high school reunion and we had a blast! we weren't dying to go but those who knew ricky in high school know that there was no way he could have missed it. so, with fun socks under his suit (i came up with the idea because i knew everyone was going to ask about the socks...) we went and totally enjoyed ourselves with old friends.

and finally, the wedding of 2008 is finally here! miss alex is getting married this weekend! yeah! we went to vegas and celebrated a bachelorette weekend and had a great time shopping, relaxing by the pool and just being girls. can't wait!
